ROBIN THE HAMMER’S first memory of life is his dad listening to Lead Belly 78s.
A figure on the underground arts scene since the 1960s, his affair with The Blues has led him through Washington Square, through the Hallowed Halls of Rock’n’Roll (his Bosco Blues Band played CBGB Gallery every Tuesday night for eighteen months) to the revered lanes of Woodstock, and to this, his first solo album.
